My homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

This was my grandmothers soup recipe.

Ingredients

8
large boneless chicken breasts
5 cups
chopped carrots
4 cups
chopped celery
2 tblsp
chopped parsley
5 lbs
egg noodles, uncooked
jar
chiken soup base
16 oz
chicken broth, non-fat

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook chicken breasts in water along with 1 cup celery and carrots until done. When cooked set aside to cool.

In an electric roaster add jar of soup base add 3 gallon of water. Cook till it boils and then add remaining carrots, celery and the parsley. set on 300 degrees and let simmer.

Shred chicken breasts and add to soup base.

Cook noodles according tp package directions. Do not over cook, drain and add to other ingredients.
Stir as needed, If soup seems to be to thick add chicken broth.
