kathyjo's Notes:

My daughter Laura loves aspargus and comes up with various ways to cook this delicious vegetable. One of our favorites is just baking it. It certainly was terrific and is our favorite way to eat it.

Directions

1
Wash the aspargus and cut the ends off the bunch about 1 inch . Place in a baking pan or cookie sheet. Baste the melted butter over the aspargus.
2
Sprinkle the spices over all of the aspargus and then place in the oven on a 350 degree heat for about 15 minutes. Test to see if done but sticking a fork in and if it is soft, then it is ready to take out of oven. If not, let it bake a few more minutes until it is soft when inserted.
3
Serve as a side dish with any main course. Goes with all meats and vegetables.

Sounds like how I have made it before other then the herbal spices. I have some that I will be baking today, might have to try the spices. I love asparagus!

Glad you all like it...sometimes I will put the leftovers in a salad, it adds a nice tangy flavor which is quite good...hubby still likes it boiled..and i do too..but grilled/baked is a favorite...
