Ingredients For taco soup

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 can
    water
  • tall can
    kidney beans
  • 2 c
    whole tomatoes 16 oz size
  • 1 can
    navy beans
  • 1 can
    pinto beans
  • 1 can
    corn
  • 1 box
    peas, frozen, 10 0z size
  • 2 c
    tomato juice
  • 5
    green peppers, cut up.

How To Make taco soup

  • 1
    Brown hamburger and onion, drain. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until water is gone.

    In a large pot, Add the cans of beans and corn,peas and tomatoes DO NOT DRAIN! add, the tomato juice and peppers. ( I use green but you can make it hot if your like and add your favorite peppers) let simmer for 20 minutes or till nice and hot. Ladle into bowls.

    Top soup with: shredded cheddar cheese avacados tomatoes sour cream Tortilla strips or chips I fry my own strips, so yummy.
