Slow-cooked Beef Stew

When making roasts and stew, do not use more liquid than specified in the recipe because more juices in meats and vegetables are retained in a slow cooker than in conventional cooking.

beef stew meat

onion, chopped

carrots, sliced

celery stalks, sliced

potatoes, diced
28 oz
tomatoes, canned
2 tsp
quick cooking tapioca
10 1/2 oz
beef broth
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
parsley flakes

bay leaf
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown beef cubes; drain. Put into a slow cooker and add remaining ingredients, stirring to blend. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
