Nancy J.'s Notes:

I found this recipe in another old 1971 Ohio church cookbook. The cover is gone and no cook was named.
I collect old cookbooks, in any condition.
I read them like a novel.
My treasure is a 1930 Settlement Cookbook, torn and battered, yellow with age and I am sure with usuage.
Oh the stories it must hold!
The families it must have served! I will be posting a few of the recipes soon.
This is the season for soup...HA!
ANYTIME,is the time for a good homemade soup.
Hope you enjoy this one.

Hey Ma....Looks great!! You know pictures also show us what it's supposed to look like when it's done. A recipe WITH pictures is much more inticing than one without pics. This is a soup recipe that I definitely will try. Thanks for sharing it, Ma. 1/30/13

Hi Nancy,
yes, this is a real soup. I use to eat star soup with meatballs way-back-when. I will try this one soon.

I agree Rose, thats why I haven't posted a recipe in awhile because I don't want to post one without a picture and since I won't use other peoples pics, I will wait until I have time to cook again and takes some pics. :)
