Ingredients

2 lb
beef top round steak, boneless
1 Tbsp
oil
1 medium
onion, coarsly chopped
1 Tbsp
flour
1 clove
garlic, minced (or more) :o)
2 large
potatoes, chopped 1/2"-3/4"
2 can(s)
(lg cans) tomatoes
2 can(s)
whole green chilis chopped coarsly (or more)
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
cumin
2 1/2 c
beef stock

Step-By-Step

1Cut meat into cubes ½”- ¾”. Brown well in the oil (medium high heat).
Add flour, onion & garlic & continue browning about 10 min.

2Add remaining ingredients ~ Simmer 2-4 hrs.

3GREAT on a cold winter day!

*You can cut up any steak for this – even leftover steak works well, you just don’t need to brown it, just begin where you add the flour, onion and garlic.
