Ingredients

2 can(s)
15 1/2 oz white beans, rinsed and drained (keep separate)
2
carrots, diced
1 small
onion, chopped
2 Tbsp
butter
2 1/4 c
water
1 1/2 c
ham, cubed(i use left over)
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1
bay leaf (optional)

Directions Step-By-Step

Mash one can of beans, set aside; in a large sauce pan saute the carrots & onions in butter. Stir in the water, ham, seasonings, whole and mashed beans. Cook over medium heat until heated. Discard bay leaf, if used.
