"I'm Too Tired to Cook" Bean with Bacon Soup
Prep time doesn't include soaking of beans. I soak mine overnight.

- 16 oz
- dry beans, soaked in your preferred manner
- carrots, sliced
- 2 stalk(s)
- celery, sliced
- onion, diced
- bacon, uncooked (i used about 6 slices, cut up)
- water to cover
1Put all ingredients in the crock pot, put it on low and let it cook between 7 and 8 hrs.
2Mash it with a potato masher just before serving.
3I don't put any spices in it (actually I had none available yesterday) so we just salt and pepper to taste.
