Crockpot White Beans and Ham

This is a great bean soup and a break from pinto beans which is almost a staple here in Texas. I love this served with hot corn bread.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 lb
small white beans
4 c
chicken broth
4 c
water
2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 c
diced ham
1 medium
onion, chopped
2
ribs celery, diced
1 Tbsp
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
old bay seasoning
1/2 tsp
garlic salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1
bay leaf

Step-By-Step

1Rinse and drain the white beans.
2Place beans in the crockpot along with all of the other ingredients.
3Stir to combine, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until beans are tender.
4Remove the bay leaf before serving.
5Great when garnished with chopped green onions and hot cornbread.
