When I was in grade school, our school lunch program consisted of ladies who knew good home cooking and they could serve what ever their minds could think of. I remember this being served one day. For some reason this combination stayed with me and when my daughters were little we had this often. It was easy on the budget and quick to whip up after I got off work.When I told my girls that I was going to make some "beanie weenie" soup they thought I was kidding. My girls will crack up when the see I have posted this

Ingredients For beanie weenie soup

  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    green beans, drained
  • 3-4
    hot dogs
  • milk or water according to soup can directions

How To Make beanie weenie soup

  • 1
    Pour cream of mushroom soup in sauce pan.Add water or milk as recommended on can. Drain green beans and add to soup. Slice hot dogs into bight size pieces.Stir together and heat till hot. Serve with buttered toast or crackers. You could also use cream of celery or potato soups. Have fun eating "beanie weenie" soup.
