Ok now this recipe is a little different. The prep time depends on whether or not you begin soaking your beans in the morning or over night.

Ingredients

1/3 c
pinto beans
1/3 c
great northern beans
1/3 c
red beans
1/8 c
kidney beans
1/8 c
white beans
2 Tbsp
salt
1 large
onion chopped
1 tsp
chili powder
1/2 c
red wine {optional}
1/4 c
garbanzo beans
1/3 c
blackeye peas
1/3 c
black beans
1/3 c
lentils
2
ham hock, smoked
1 can(s)
hunts fire roasted tomatoes
1 clove
garlic chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

Cover the beans with water to an inch past the beans & 2 tbsp of salt. Let them soak

After soaking, drain then add 2 qts of water & ham hocks, simmer 3 hours

Add onion, chili powder, tomatoes, garlic & red wine, simmer another hour

    Hello would love to make this..How long do I soak the beans and do I soak all the beans together I have 2 nice ham hocks and need to know ASAP please thank you sounds so yummy Shiryl
