Ingredients For chocolate popcorn

1 c

sugar
3 Tbsp

butter
1/2 c

water
1/3 c

corn syrup
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 c. choc. chips
2 qt

salted popped corn

How To Make chocolate popcorn

In heavy saucepan, combine water, sugar, and corn syrup together, bring to a boil. Stir in butter. When butter is melted, add chocolate. Cook stirring constantly, until soft ball stage is reached or candy thermometer(238-240 F). Pour over popcorn and toss until well coated.
