This is a very old recipe , it came from my Great Grandma Roupe.

An EXCELLENT sauce for carmel corn.

2-1/2 to 3 cups

Ingredients

2 c
light brown sugar
2 stick
margarine
1/2 c
white karo syrup
1 tsp
vanilla
1 tsp
soda
8 qt
popped hull-less super popcorn

Directions Step-By-Step

Bring to boil on LOW heat : brown sugar , margarine and Karo syrup. Bring to boil for 5 minutes , stirring constantly

Remove from heat and add the vanilla and soda ; STIR WELL.

Coat a large bowl of popped popcorn ( or more if desired )

Place in a 2" deep sheet ( I use a aluminum turkey pan ).

Bake @ 250° for 1 hour ; stirring every 15 minutes.
