spicy deviled eggs

Most of the recipes I could find had pickles or pickle juice in them. Since I'm not fond of pickles (unless they are my aunt's homemade bread & butter pickles), I made my own recipe and added the Tabasco for a friend of mine who likes food with a little bite.

Ingredients For spicy deviled eggs

  • 12
    large boiled eggs
  • 2/3 c
    miracle whip salad dressing (not mayonnaise)
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp
    tabasco sauce
  • pinch
    salt and pepper (to taste)
  • red pepper

How To Make spicy deviled eggs

  • 1
    Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolk. Crumble yolk with a fork or through a small tea strainer and mix with all but the red pepper. Fill egg cavities using spoon or piping bag then sprinkle red pepper on top.

    Note: If you wish to make a batch them less spicy for your guests who don't like spice, omit the Tabasco sauce and use paprika instead of the red pepper.
