This is a great snack for those watching intake of protien/carbs. It provides something crunchy when you just have to have that texture.
1/4 can portion
7.7 Total fat
2Rinse a can of chick peas and let dry on paper towels, blotting and rolling lightly on top as well
3Spray a cookie sheet with PAM or something similar. Transfer the chick peas to the cookie sheet and season to taste.
4Roast for about 20 min. Remove the sheet and shake them around. Replace in oven for another 20 min. I put it on the middle rack and watch it carefully...I've burned a few pansfull in the past!
5You can use this basic recipe and change up the seasonings to your own tastes. I have used a touch of Hidden Valley powdered dressing mix, taco seasoning, chili powder, teryaki, just all kinds of seasonings.
