Healthy, Homemade, Taco Seasoning

Ok, I'll admit, im a bit of a health nut. Especially when it comes to adding unnecessary msg or salt to our diets.I try to completely refrain from cooking anything from a box. Partly because I was raised on fresh food, rarely anything from a box or can.

Anyway I found this recipe online awhile back (I'm sorry I cannot remember the site for the life of me & tried to find it to no avail!). I use it every time we make tacos or for anything that calls for a packet of taco seasoning.
It's easy & tasty! It'll be all you wanna use once you try it! You can surely adjust the seasonings to your own!

for use with one pound meat or equal to one packet seasoning

2 Tbsp
chili powder
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1 tsp
3 tsp
ground cumin
2 tsp
coarse sea salt
2 tsp
fresh ground pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all seasonings together.

You can adjust for more heat, use hot paprika, or sweet to adjust for your family's tastes.
Use in your favorite recipes that call for "taco seasonings"
