I live under the notion that anything made with bacon and chocolate is a winner. So why not combine them!? Not as weird as you might think, this recipe combines sweet/chocolatey and salty into one delicious treat!

Ingredients For chocolate covered bacon

1 pkgprecooked bacon

1/2 lbchocolate wafers

1 Tbspvegetable shortening
How To Make chocolate covered bacon

1Place chocolate wafers and shortening into shallow dish and heat in microwave for ~3 minutes on half power, or until wafers are melted. Stir until smooth.

2Dip bacon into chocolate until coated. Shake off excess and place bacon slices on waxed paper to harden.
