Spicy Pistachio, Nut & Seed Mix

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
pecan halves
3/4 c
pine nuts
3/4 c
shelled pumpkin seeds (peptitas)
1/3 c
shelled pistachios
3 Tbsp
vegetable oil
3 Tbsp
granulated sugar
3/4 tsp
cayenne pepper (or more, to taste)
1/2 tsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Coat a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet with cooking spray.
2In a large bowl, combine pecans, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, pistachios and oil.
3Mix in sugar, 3/4 teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper and salt; make sure all nuts are covered.
4Spoon nuts evenly across pan and place in oven. Bake about 15 to 20 minutes or until nuts are brown, shake pan frequently.
5Remove from oven and cool. Store in airtight container.
