I've bought pecans glazed in various flavors in the past. Now I know how to make them. I like having glazed nuts on hand for the holidays. I think the cocoa and chili powder combo will really rock.

large pecan halves
1 Tbsp
cocoa powder
3 tsp

1/8 to 1/4 tsp
cayenne pepper

Step-By-Step

2Stir together 1/4 cup sugar and warm water, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add pecans; let soak 10 minutes. Drain water and discard.

4Bake 10-15 minutes or until pecans start to glisten and appear dry. Stir occasionally while baking. Cool completely. Store in a cool, dry place. Great as a snack with beverages, as an appetizer, or sprinkle on salads.
