This is a little more work than most of the other Chex Mix recipes but it's the one I know. I love all these spices, especially Beau Monde it is one of my favorite spice blends. It's a wonder I just don't start adding it to everything! If you love savory and spicy plus lots of crunch and texture be sure to save this one.

I wish I would of taken pics when my nephew Noah was helping me fill the bags.

Ingredients

SEASONINGS

2 tsp
beau monde seasoning
2 tsp
seasoning salt
1 tsp
marjoram
1 tsp
summer savory
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/4 tsp
cayenne pepper
2 - 3 tsp
parsley flakes

CEREALS

1 box
cherrios
1 box
rice chex
1 box
corn chex
1 box
wheat chex

NUTS

2 c
salted peanuts (we like the red skinned)
1 c
cashews, salted
1 c
pecans
2 c
mixed nuts

SNACKS

1 bag(s)
bugles
2 c
pretzel sticks
1 lb
butter or margarine, divided

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Melt half the butter and add spices. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Put into shallow baking pan; dot remaining butter on top. Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
