This will be one of the best crackers you'll ever eat. Granted you like spicy foods. I think they are perfect by themselves but some people like to cool them off with a dip or spread. You can't eat just one. Serve them with Chili or Taco Soup for some real kick.

Ingredients For spicey unsalted saltines

    1 gallon zip-loc bags
  • 2
    1 oz packs dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 2 c
    canola oil (must be canola oil)
  • 1 box
    unsalted saltine crackers

How To Make spicey unsalted saltines

    Divide the dry ingredients between the two zip lock bags and mix thoroughly. Divide the canola oil between the two bags and mix thoroughly with the dry ingredients. Divide the box of crackers between the two bags.

    Seal the bags and turn until the crackers are evenly coated. Turn the bags once every 30 minutes until the liquid is absorbed by the crackers. (About 2 hours). Transfer the crackers to a clean bag or other airtight container.
