Put crackers in a large air tight container. Mix thoroughly the remaining ingredients (I shake in an airtight container). Pour over crackers. Seal container and carefully toss crackers every 15 minutes for 2 hours. (VERY important that the crackers are tossed as directions instruct. Otherwise the crackers will be too greasy.) Another option...Oyster/Soup crackers may be used instead of saltines.
Amount of red pepper may be adjusted to taste.
