1 1/4 tspseasoning salt

1/4 tspgarlic salt

2 cwheat chex cereal

2 ccorn chex cereal

2 crice chex cereal

1 1/2 cpeanuts

1 1/2 cpretzel sticks, broken
How To Make original 1956 chex party mix

1Preheat oven to 275°. Melt butter in a 9x13-inch cake pan.

2Stir in worcestershire sauce, seasoning salt, and garlic salt.

3Stir cereal, peanuts, and pretzel pieces into the margarine mixture, stirring to coat well.

4Bake for 40 minutes, stirring well every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool about 30 minutes, stirring once. Store in airtight container.
