skyline chili dip

I grew up eating this dip and still make it for just about every get together we have at our house. I was hesitant to post because it calls for Cincinnati style chili and I know it isn't available everywhere. But I did see it at Kroger's in Houston, TX so...here it is:) Also, I know there are a few Cincinnati style chili recipes on JAP so you could use those too:) Skylinechili.com has a "where to buy" section that lists the different states and stores where their products are sold. Oddly enough, it doesn't list Houston (but I bought it there soo:)

Ingredients For skyline chili dip

  • 1
    block of cream cheese (8oz), softened
  • 1
    can of skyline chili (10.5oz)
  • 1-2 c
    shredded mild cheddar cheese

How To Make skyline chili dip

    Spread cream cheese to cover bottom of pie plate or shallow 8x8 dish.

    Pour chili over cream cheese.

    Cover with shredded cheddar. Microwave for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted. People also cook this in the oven but I never have since the microwave is much faster and usually when I'm making this people are ready to eat it:). Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!!
