Ingredients For winey carrots

2 lbbaby carrots
-
2 cwhite wine/reisling or chardonay

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 stickbutter/cut into pats
How To Make winey carrots

1preheat oven to 400 degrees.In a 9x13 casserole dish, pour in white wine, if you want dish to be sweeter use Reisling, not as sweet use the Chardonay,then add brown sugar, mix well.

2Now add the baby carrots, make sure the wine covers the carrots fairly well, dot the dish with the pats of butter. you can always add more wine or butter to your own taste and preference.

3Put in oven and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour, test after 45 mins to see if carrots are fork tender, again to your preference. enjoy!
