Ingredients

1.3 lb
sauerkraut
1
onion
1 Tbsp
oil or butter
salt or spices

Step-By-Step

1Put one tablespoon of oil or butter in a pot
2Cut the onion into small pieces and put it in the pot too
3Add the sauerkraut
4Add some salt or spices
Heat up, then reduce heat and stew for about 60 to 90 minutes, move the sauerkraut from time to time
5Add some water if necessary.
6If you wish to serve potatoes and/or meat with the sauerkraut, cook it in the same pot.
