Ingredients

1.3 lb
sauerkraut
1
onion
1 Tbsp
oil or butter
salt or spices

Directions Step-By-Step

Put one tablespoon of oil or butter in a pot

Cut the onion into small pieces and put it in the pot too

Add the sauerkraut

Add some salt or spices
Heat up, then reduce heat and stew for about 60 to 90 minutes, move the sauerkraut from time to time

Add some water if necessary.

If you wish to serve potatoes and/or meat with the sauerkraut, cook it in the same pot.
