When I was young my mom would always do something special to our veggies to get us to eat them, never knew there was any other way to eat peas, lol. They are quick and make a great side with just about anything.

Ingredients For sweet creamed peas

15 oz

can of green peas
1/2 stick

butter
2 Tbsp

flour
3 Tbsp

sugar
1/2 tsp

salt

How To Make sweet creamed peas

In a small sauce pan melt butter on med to high heat.

Once butter is melted add flour stirring constantly. Once flour is bubbling in butter add sugar.Bring to a bubble..careful not to burn.

Add a little liquid from the can of peas ..still stirring.

Once that is incorperated add the whole can of peas...add salt .... Bring to a slow bubble and turn off.

They are ready to serve.
