Sweet Corn Cassarole

This has been a recipe that I have been working on for a long time. My hubby likes sweet cornbread and I have been trying to adjust this to his taste. He thinks this is now just right.

Ingredients

1 box
jiffy cornbread mix
1/2 box
jiffy white cake mix
2
eggs, slightly beaten
1 can(s)
cream corn
1 can(s)
whole corn, drained
1 stick
butter, melted
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c
light sour cream

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a deep oval cassarole with cooking spray. Quickly mix all ingredients and pour into cassarole dish. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hour or until center springs back when touched and toothpick comes out clean. You're looking for a golden brown crust. This is a wonderful side dish for potlucks and family gatherings.
