Sherri's Story

Quick, easy and tasty salad for any occassion. Your family and friends will love you for making this special to-go salad. For a healthier version use turkey bacon, nonfat buttermilk and low calorie mayo. No one will be the wiser. Cooking with Passion, sw:)

Ingredients

14 oz
frozen green peas, thawed
2-3 slice
bacon, cooked and sliced
3 large
eggs, boiled and chopped
1/2 c
pepper jack cheese, shredded
1/2 small
red onion, chopped
2 Tbsp
red pepper, chopped
DRESSING
1/3 c
mayonnaise
1/3 c
buttermilk, whole fat
1 pkg
ranch dry mix
1 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
1 tsp
truvia
1-2 tsp
crushed red pepper
1 pinch
sea salt

Directions Step-By-Step

In a medium mixing bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients. Add all the other ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly. Chill until ready to serve.

I would probably use 2 tsps or to your taste.

If we used regular sugar would you still use only a teaspoon? Usually artificial sweeteners are a little more sweet than sugar itself. 9/10/13
