Polish Cabbage

I have no idea what the correct polish name is. But this is so yummy. We also add homemade noodles to this. A wonderful side dish.

Ingredients

01 large
head of cabbage
1lb pkg
thick cut bacon slices
01 small
onion
01 pt
mushroons sliced

Step-By-Step

1Slice thin onion and mushrooms. Set aside.

2Cut bacon into small chunks. Put it in a cold fry pan and begin to cook. In 5 mins. Add the onions and mushrooms. Simmer

3Slice the cabbage. Add it to pan. Bacon grease and all. Stir.

4Cover simmer stir occasionaly. When the cabbage is tender its done.

5Yummy goodness awaits you.
