**yellow squash
** flour
**egg
**panko bread crumbs
**mrs. dash original blend
**canola oil

Lynn's Notes:

These are addicting. They are so light and tasty. They remind me of something else, still cannot put my finger on it.

 

Directions

1
Slice yellow squash into rounds. Place flour in one pie plate, beaten eggs in another, and panko in another. Add Mrs. Dash to each one and mix well.

Dip squash in flour, then eggs, then panko. Fry for 3 or so minutes on each side.

I love fried squash and eggplant! You should try either Zucchini Parmesan or Eggplant Parmesan I make both and love love love it!

I love fried squash!!! Lynn try it with potatoes and onion mixed in....love love love it like that too! Awesome recipe girl!!!

maybe its fried green tomatoes...they remind you of ...sounds good ..going to try it out on my husband , he says he doesnt like squash

Actually I made fried green tomatillos too, they DO taste like fried green tomatoes. I can't put my finger on it, and I think you husband WILL like them, I wouldn't have thought I would, but it's such a mild flavor, and panko and oil never hurts, lol.

Looks really good but could you use meal instead of using bread crumbs and flour?

It's lie the fried zuchinni Red Lobster used to serve with ranch dressing for dipping. I loved those. This is such an easy and delicious recipe.
