Overnight Sauerkraut Salad

This is a perfect holiday dish with Pork dishes and also
is a pefect salad for summer picnics because it has no mayo in it. It goes greaat with hot dogs and brats too.
It was given to me by a very dear friend of my husband's.

Ingredients

1 lb
can sauerkraut, drained well
3/4 c
sugar
1 c
chopped celery
1 c
green peppers, chopped
1/4 c
onions, chopped
3 Tbsp
white vinegar
1/2 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
celery seed
3 Tbsp
pimentos, chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain sauerkraut 15 minutes, then cut up with kitchen scissors into 1 inch pieces.

Place in a large bowl, add remaining ingredients, stir well, cover and refridgerate overnight before serving.
