1Fry bacon in a large skillet, over medium high heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning, about 5 minutes. Add onions and okra

2Cook, stirring constantly, until tender and lightly browned Pour in tomatoes, and simmer over medium heat for approximately 20 minutes, Continue gentle stirring

3Add corn to the mixture: (optional mushrooms); simmer another 10 minutes. Continue gentle stirring Season with salt and pepper, serve hot.
