I saw this on Youtube and decided to try it. I was amazed to see it worked like a charm. With this technique, you can say good-bye to pots of boiling water.

Ingredients

unpeeled ears of corn

Directions Step-By-Step

Place unpeeled, unshucked ears of corn (up to 4) in the microwave oven.

On the high setting, cook the corn. 4 minutes for each ear.

When the cooking is done, remove the ears. With a sharp knife cut the corn horizontally at the stem end. You should see that you have removed part of the ear with the kernels on it.

Then hold the ear by the narrowest end and shake the cob out. The cooked ear of corn will slide out of the peels with not a single piece of silk on it. The corn will be sweet and tender.
