These are so tasty, the can be eaten alone as an appetizer or served with a steak, or top a baked potato with them and add some cheese for a real treat.
Just as with my Mozzarella balls you can add or leave out any spice you want. The choice is your :-)

Ingredients

1 lb
mushrooms, washed and stems removed
5 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1 Tbsp
balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp
minced garlic
1 Tbsp
minced onion or shallot's
2 Tbsp
oregano or italian seasoning
2 Tbsp
thyme, dried
1/2 tsp
salt

Directions Step-By-Step

washed mushrooms and remove stems,
Boil for 10 minutes in a pot of salted water (approx 1 tsp salt)

drain and cool mushrooms

combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well

Pour over Mushrooms toss lightly& cover or use a large zip lock bag
Refrigerate several hours.

These are good cold or warmed up. they go well with a steak as a side or over the top.
