HEALTHY FRESH CABBAGE STIR FRY

A few year ago I put this together myself. I have continued to cook it since. I like the crunch in it. Right now I have several winter Cabbage growing in my garden. I don't tire of this recipe.

Ingredients

1
cabbage head, chopped roughly
2 large
onion, cut in slices and separated
1/2 medium
red bell pepper, cut in strips
1 tsp
red pepper flakes
1/2 c
olive oil, light
salt and pepper to taste
2
celery stalks, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (optional)

Directions Step-By-Step

Pour scant 1/2 cup of Olive Oil into large stick free frying pan on med / med -high stove top burner. Make sure oil is real warm.

Pile cut vegetables into pan and stir to coat with warm oil.

Sprinkle vegetables with pepper flakes, salt and pepper (to taste). Flip occasionally to retain crispness. When desired tenderness is reached, remove from pan. When the cabbage mixture does a good wilt down, I remove from pan.
