Green Beans (Hubby's fav !)

- green beans
- 4 Tbsp
- chopped garlic
- 6 slice
- peppered bacon
- 1 c
- dark brown sugar (packed)
1cut bacon into small pieces and cook in medium pot until brown.
2Leaving bacon and drippings in pot, add garlic and sautee slightly.
3Pour in 1 (ONE) can beans undrained. Drain the other 3 and add.
4Stir in 1 cup dark brown sugar until dissolved.
5bring liquid up to boil then cover tightly, and reduce heat to very low simmer. Simmer 30 min. Remove lid and raise temp if you want less liquid.
