I serve this delicious side dish w/ my lemon-sage roast chicken. They go very well together. The Italian dressing gives this dish a wonderful, light flavor.

Ingredients For green bean & bell pepper toss

12 ozfresh green beans, trimmed

1 smgreen bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 smred bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 smshallot, chopped

2 Tbsplight italian dressing

1 Tbspfresh oregano, chopped.

salt & pepper to taste
How To Make green bean & bell pepper toss

1In saucepan of boiling salted water, cook green beans 2 mins, or until crisp-tender, drain well.

2Spray a skillet w/ cooking spray, place over medium heat. Cook peppers and shallots in italian dressing 2 mins, or until peppers are tender, stirring constantly.

3Stir in green beans and oregano. Cook 1 min or until heated through. Season w/ salt and pepper.
