When green beans are steamed lightly in vegetable broth then remove from the steamer, season with just a little salt and pepper. In medium to large sauce pan, over medium heat add vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Then add green beans and let steam for about 5 – 8 minutes or until tender, but do not overcook. Remove pan from heat, season with salt and pepper, then add slice peppers cover and let stand for about 2 minutes.
