This freezer pickles slices recipe is Outstanding! I actually put up these freezer pickles last summer. We’re still eating on them and they have held up WAY BETTER than my canned pickles. Not that my canned pickles aren’t good, they are. It’s just that these freezer pickle slices are enjoyed more often on different occasions.

Ingredients

  • 7 cups sliced thin cucumbers
  • 1 cup green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 cup sliced onion
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white vinegar

How To Make freezer pickles

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients. Let stand in refrigerator 1 day (DONT STIR) Stir once daily for next 3 days Freeze in containers or freezer bags
