Ingredients For faye's okra pattie's

  • 2 c
    cut up orka
  • 2 c
    selfrising corn meal
  • 1/2 c
    medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 c
    bell pepper,chopped
  • 1(8oz.) can
    rotell tomato
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make faye's okra pattie's

    in medium bowl,add all the ingredients together,mix well,shape into small patties.

    in frying pan pour small amount of cooking oil. do not drain the rotell tomato,s

    heat oil on low to medium heat,when hot put patties in pan one at a time. cook till light brown then turn them over and cook this side till cooked the way you like them,i like mine soft in side and brown out side.
