This has been in the family since I can remember it's the only one I make .We only use a fresh head of cabbage that we grate, it seems to taste so much better . TASTE GOOD ON A HOT DOG OR A HAM SANDWICH TOO!

Ingredients

6 c
cabbage, grated
1 medium
carrot, grated
2 Tbsp
minced onion
1/2 c
green pepper,diced
1 c
ripe tomato, diced
1 1/4 c
mayonnaise
1 Tbsp
sugar
1 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp
celery seed
1/4 tsp
salt and pepper

Step-By-Step

1In medium bowl combine cabbage ,carrot, onion ,green pepper and tomato.

2In small bowl mix mayonnaise, sugar, cider vinegar, celery seed , salt and pepper

3stir into vegetables until well blended

4refrigerate at least a few hours or more ,it taste better made the night before
