WE EAT THESE OFTEN IN THE SUMMER WHEN THE SQUASH ARE FRESH OFF THE VINE.I ALSO COOK EXTRA CRISPY AND DIP IN RANCH DRESSING AS A SNACK.

Ingredients

4 medium
yellow squash
1/2 c
cornmeal
1/2 c
flour
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
black pepper
2 tsp
everglade seasoning or lowrys seasoning salt if you can't find everglade
1 c
milk
canola oil for deep frying

Step-By-Step

1Peel squash with a potato peeler(my preference)

2Slice thickness you prefer

3Put squash in milk

4Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and blend

5Put squash in dry mixture to coat then add to hot oil.

6Cook until golden brown remove and drain.
