a bit spicy but we like the heat in this house.. warning spices and fiber... can clean ya out a bit..

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
butter
1- 2
minced onions
2- 4 clove
garlic finely minced
2 tsp
finely chopped ginger root
6 clove
cloves
1 tsp
cummin
1 tsp
corriander
2 stick
cinnamon crushed
1 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 tsp
turmeric, ground
1/2 tsp
curry powder
2 can(s)
garbanzo beans with liquad

Directions Step-By-Step

melt butter be careful not to burn. Add onions and cook till tender.

Add all the spices and cook stirring for 1 minutes to make a paste

add chickpeas with liquid and stir , bring to boil, cover and simmer for 3 hours...stirring occasionally

you can mash about 1/4 of the chickpeas in pot after simmering to make less chunky if you like..
