green beans (large size)
bacon, cut into small pieces
saute bacon, onion and garlic together. Do not drain grease.
Drain liquid from one can of green beans and put them in the crockpot. Drain half the liquid from the next can, and pour remaining liquid and beans into the crockpot.
pour bacon, onion and garlic (with grease) over the beans.
Cook overnight in the crockpot on low. Stirring occasionally. The beans will cook down, and be very soft. (I cook them for at least 12 hours, if not more.)
