Kimmi's Notes:

Crock Pot recipes can serve dual purposes, like this recipe for Crock Pot Air Freshener!

Using all edible ingredients, this air freshener is great to make around the holidays!

Directions

1
Place the ingredients into a crock pot & mix together. Let simmer with lid off.
2
Be careful to watch the crock pot & add additional water as needed, as the heat will cause the water to evaporate.

This is ideal for when you are showing your house for sale. The aroma makes it a very homey atmosphere. Better because showing the home, the Realtor does like you to leave for a couple hours. That way no candles burning. Thank you, will keep this in mind. IZEKER

Great recipe, Kimmi! I do a similar potpourri during the holidays with cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, whole allspice and orange peels, but this one would be good any time of year, and I think the oil would make the fragrance of the spices last longer.

I found that if I turned the pot on for a couple of hours every day or two, it lasted several weeks without getting moldy. It did get kind of dark and murky looking, so if you're using it while trying to sell your house, you might want to put the Crock Pot in an unobtrusive spot.

Kimmi,
I like this idea. Approximately how big is that crock pot? According to the list of ingredients it doesn't have to be very big. I have saved this 'recipe' for now. 5/01/12
