4 Tbsp
unsalted butter
red onion, chopped
kosher salt and black pepper
2 clove
garlic, minced
2 tsp
red pepper flakes
1 1/2 c
heavy cream
1 c
shredded parmesan
1 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/2 c
sour cream
2 (10oz.) pkg
frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 c
french's fried onions


Step 1 Direction Photo

1Preheat oven to 375*.
Spray 8x8-inch baking dish.

In large skillet, melt butter and add red onions and a pinch of salt and saute for 3 minutes. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and saute for another 2 minutes.

2Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and the nutmeg. Cook up until right before the cream bubbles, remove from heat and add sour cream and the spinach. Salt and pepper to taste.

3Pour spinach mixture into baking dish, sprinkle with fried onions and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
