Chick pea (Garbanzo bean) salad

This is one of my favorites with crackers or by itself as a non fattening snack and it is good for you! You can mash peas up to the consistency that you prefer. Personally I just like to crack them open a little to incorporated flavors or you can use whole peas. I usually don't measure anything so adjust to your liking(Example-more or less mayo)Less is best especially if your on a diet.

Ingredients

2 can(s)
drained garbanzo beans
1 small
fresh tomato
1/2 small
diced onion
1 sprig(s)
celery stalk (or you can use celery salt)
3 Tbsp
mayonnaise (dukes)
1/2 tsp
dill, (fresh or dried) *note- this is optional
1 pinch
salt and pepper
1/2 tsp
lemon juice (will help keep it fresh longer)*note- this is optional to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Place garbanzo beans in bowl and mash just slightly. To the consistency that you desire... or not at all.

Add rest of ingredients then mix well.

Let stand in fridge for a few hours before serving or over night. Toss before serving.
