Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
I could smell the cream cheese cooking and it smelled great! Panko bread crumbs sprinkled on top would give this dish a nice crunchy texture. Absolutely lovely as a side dish with roasted or grilled chicken.

1 bunch
cauliflower in bite size pieces
1 bunch
broccoli in bite size pieces
1 stick
marg. melted
2 -8 oz.
cream cheese, soft
2 cans
cream of celery soup

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook the first 2 ing. 5 mins. and drain well, cool. Put them in a buttered 9x13' dish. Mix the next 5 ing. and pour over, sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered. Bake 350 for 35 mins.

Oh yeah, also, I used frozen (steam in bag kind), 1 bag of ea. Maybe could of used another bag of 1 or the other & shouldn't have cooked them for the length of time it said to but luckily the veges didn't come out too overly mushy & was fine. Def will want to use fresh some time.

Made this as a side dish for our dinner 2nite w/the help of our daughter who is visiting us. Def gotta make sure the crm cheese is softer & more incorporated when making the sauce nxt time but other then that it was good. Not quite the flavor I was was a nice surprise.
