Cat's Kick-up Green Bean Casserole

My family loves green bean casserole but I decided that it needed a little something extra. I've added a few extra's into the casserole to get it a little "punch" of crunchiness and flavor. A much requested family favorite.

Ingredients

5 can(s)
french cut or regular green beans
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 large
can fried onions
1 can(s)
diced water chestnuts
2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded, or more if desired
1 c
milk

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine green beans, water chestnuts,mushroom soup, 2c fried onions, cheese and milk. Mix thoroughly. Pour into a 3-qt casserole dish. Top with remaining 2/3c onions.
2Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until browned and center is bubbly.
